Elastel EG500 is an industrial Edge computing Gateway designed for IoT applications. Powered by Raspberry Pi CM4. Applications.
EG500 features powerful edge computing capabilities, equipped with RS232, RS-485, DI, DO, and ADC typical industrial interfaces. It realizes data processing at the network edge in real time for high-performance IoT deployments. significantly reduces the data flow between field sites and data center.
With 4G/LTE, CAT6/CAT4/3G/2G/LTE CAT M1(eMTC) and NB-IoT cellular network, Dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi, dual Gigabit Ethernet, and Elastic Linux based OS, it’s easy to deploy and interoperate with IoT platform like Microsoft Azure, AWS, ThingsBoard, etc.
Powered by Raspberry Pi CM4 which featured high-performance edge computing capabilities, it’s easy to build up your IoT projects and PoC applications.
From computing module, communication module to each electronic components, EG500 adopts strict industrial grade standards. Solid and durable housing and SIM lock secure it at your remote edge field .
With the Raspberry Pi CM4 running up to 1.5GHz computing capability, and flexible Linux Operating System, EC500 could be applied in many kinds of scenarios.
With Serial ports and DI & DO ports available, and take advantage of Software-defined PLC, EG500 can easily operate as a typical PLC.
Data collecting from slave devices, analyzing and storing. And with flexible configuration, it is perfect as a protocol and interface converter Gateway.
With a built-in cellular module, EG500 can be configured as an industrial modem and router operating in 4G/LTE, 3G, NB-IoT mobile network. Easily remote access in by build a VPN or a defined public IP.
The Compact and high reliability design with HDMI port, allows EG500 operate as a micro server. Raspberry Pi compatibility and Linux OS provides computer operation possibility.
